Founded in 1972, the Gallatin County Historical Society aims to preserve and protect historical aspects of Gallatin County and educate others and even ourselves about its illustrious history. A majority of funding for the Historical Society is provided by grants and the generous donations of those sponsoring our efforts. The Gallatin County Historical Society is led by Society Officers that include the society president, vice- president, secretary, treasurer, and members of the board of directors.
